Bringing his vast International culinary experience to Boomarang, Chef Michael’s 13 year background boast travelling the world as Chef de Cuisine aboard ‘Tamarind’ restaurant (voted one of the best restaurants on the high seas for famous cruise liner ‘Holland America’), to working under well known Australian Chef Luke Mangan in Sydney.
Chef Michael additionally won the Singapore dictrict finals to represent Singapore at the Asia-Pacific Chef’s Competition. From his impressive international experience plus 2 years as Sous-Chef at Boomarang, Chef Michael delivers the highest standard of fresh and authentic Australian cuisine to Singapore at Boomarang Bistro & Bar.
Taufiq Hashim
Assistant Restaurant Manager
Having been with Boomarang since its opening day, Taufiq has acquired a wealth of skills and experience. Beginning his role as a waiter, he has progressed through the ranks and is now a new addition to the management team at Boomarang as one of our Assistant Restaurant Managers.
Alex Botor
Bar Manager
Alex has been with Boomarang from day one and has established himself as our Bar Manager.
Having travelled worldwide developing his trade, Alex has a cocktail knowledge second to none and he is a valuable member of the Boomarang team.
Sheena Ong
Assistant Restaurant Manager
Sheena first joined Boomarang as a waitress and has impressively progressed through the ranks as Head Waitress, Restaurant Supervisor and is now a new addition to the management team at Boomarang as one of our Assistant Restaurant Managers.
